Greetings Students, Parents, and Choir Directors!
We hope the school year finds you well. Last year students from across Frederick County came together for a “Show Choir Spotlight” festival that celebrated singing together. This festival was a smashing success with about a hundred students from many high schools and middle schools participating. Show choirs performed their own shows to a packed house and all students performed together in a massive finale song. We received an abundance of positive feedback from students, families, and community members.
We are looking forward to this festival in the 2025 - 2026 school year! The date for this year’s Frederick County “Show Choir Spotlight” is Saturday, November 8th, 2025. This event is for students in grades 6 through 12. Our guest choreographer, Tara Lee, will be coming back to lead this year’s participants in what we are sure will be a “bring down the house” finale. The price per student, $25 (includes t-shirt, music, lunch, and choreographer), is more than reasonable and the experience is one your kid(s) will be talking about for the rest of the year. We have included our clinician’s biography below.
We are offering this one day festival as an additional experience for the choir student. Teachers do not need to run a show choir at their school. This event is for individuals.
Please take a minute to look over the information on the poster and the registration form. If you’re looking for a fun-filled, exciting, informative activity and experience for your student(s) come and join us. We will need to cap the enrollment for the festival as it becomes necessary so please respond early. Thanks and have a wonderful fall semester.
Sincerely,
Terence Moore Alayna Fulton
